Responsible for developing long-term training and self-service strategies while managing the onboarding and contracting processes and teams. Their main focus is to provide an efficient and effective onboarding process that will maximize supplier satisfaction while optimizing SKU growth and reducing costs. They will develop and implement strategies based on analysis of data that supports sku growth with regards to recommendations from the various business stakeholders (merchandising, partner care etc). This role is expected to build internal and external relationships by creating value and opportunities for Overstock and its many Suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and direct a team of trainers and contracting associates
Define overarching goals with a focus on forward looking strategy
Drives ongoing process improvement to deliver increasing efficiency in all processes
Identify roadblocks and provide solutions to allow for maximum automation and self-service
Anticipate, monitor, and respond to changing operational and business KPI's
Ensure associates follow up with potential and new Suppliers to move them through the acquisition and onboarding process, answer any questions and concerns
Document and maintain reporting of onboarding pipeline at each stage of the process
Communicate to business stakeholders (merchandising, partner care etc) status of all new supplier's progress to assist with the finalized product assortment plans
Continually research new training strategies to optimize partner onboarding
Regularly collaborates with partners on potential program and system improvements
Maintain and create training materials to reflect all new processes and policies

Job Requirements
Experience in at least two related fields: team management, account management, product management, project management, or training facilitation
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines
Experience in communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
Proactive attitude; willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability to use critical thinking in analyzing and resolving problems
Proven ability to scale and grow with a business
Good balance of strategic thinking and operational execution
Prior experience in a high performance, fast-paced industry
Comfortable in technology-driven business environment
Experience in online retail, supply chain, logistics or training is a plus.
Experience hiring and leading diverse teams
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Physical Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required. Duties may also require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and occasionally working in a warehouse environment.
