We are seeking a skilled and organized Litigation Support Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. The Litigation Support Consultant will play a crucial role in assisting legal teams with electronic discovery (e-discovery), data management, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support services, including proficiency in litigation technology tools and database management.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Electronic Discovery (E-Discovery) Management:
    • Coordinate and manage the e-discovery process, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
    • Collaborate with legal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with e-discovery protocols and deadlines.
    • Utilize e-discovery software and tools to facilitate document review and analysis.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Organize, index, and maintain large volumes of electronic data for litigation purposes.
    • Conduct data analytics and searches to identify relevant documents and evidence.
    • Prepare data summaries, reports, and visual presentations for use in legal proceedings.
  • Trial Preparation and Support:
    • Assist in preparing trial exhibits, demonstratives, and presentations.
    • Coordinate logistics for trial-related activities, including witness preparation and courtroom setup.
    • Provide technical support during trials, including managing electronic evidence and courtroom technology.
  • Litigation Technology Consulting:
    • Advise legal teams on best practices for leveraging litigation support tools and technologies.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to e-discovery software, databases, and document management systems.
    • Train attorneys and staff on the use of litigation support tools and software platforms.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple litigation support projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report on project milestones to stakeholders.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding litigation support services and project updates.
    • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other stakeholders to address case-specific needs and requirements.
    • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive case information.
