SDET - ORMB Implementation

Location: California, US (Onsite/Remote)

Job Summary:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of the ORMB system at a Non-Profit Health Insurance Company. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to validate system requirements, design test cases, execute test scripts, and report defects. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the seamless deployment of ORMB solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand system requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
• Developing automated testing capabilities within a custom framework leveraging Python and/or Java
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for ORMB modules.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to validate system behavior.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in test automation efforts and contribute to the creation of automated test scripts.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with ORMB or similar billing and revenue management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
