POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing high-quality user support, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The role requires a proactive, fast-learning individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, is action-oriented, and can take charge of projects. The technician will ensure the integration of software platforms across the business and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.


IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN:

-Within 30 days you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and processes, as well as familiarizing themselves with the IT support team and their challenges and you'll assess current IT support processes, identify areas for improvement and risks, while also establishing relationships with key stakeholders.

-Within 60 days you will develop a comprehensive understanding of Polly's technology stack, covering hardware, software, and networking components. Use this knowledge to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose various technology issues in the organization's dynamic business environment

-Within 90 days you will become adept at delivering top-tier support for Polly's technology infrastructure swiftly. Implement proactive measures to preempt and address potential issues, contributing to ongoing enhancements in IT support procedures


COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Sec+, Net+, etc.) are a plus.

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role or equivalent.

-Experience in fast paced environments.

-Demonstrated expertise in administering Google Workspace, including user management, email configuration, and security settings.

-Strong knowledge of IAM principles and practices, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

-A go-getter attitude with a willingness to take charge.

-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.


Work Environment: This role is based in the office, requiring attendance 5 days a week. Occasional travel to retail store locations may be required to provide on-site IT support.

$63,000 - $75,000 a year
