Job Summary

Work Shift

1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who is curious about the big picture, is a critical thinker with a strong desire for learning, and possesses the ability to determine the root cause? In this role you will assist in the planning and execution of risk-based audits and identify value-added recommendations to help strengthen processes and controls. We’re looking for knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, analytical skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and assist in the completion of audit projects.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities, providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with management to address internal control weaknesses and inefficient practices, reviewing action plans to resolve identified issues, while preparing concise audit findings and process improvement opportunities.
• Perform follow-up on management's corrective actions, maintaining correspondence with business units to track progress, and generating reports for leadership.
• Provide comprehensive data analysis support, investigating patterns, discrepancies, and anomalies in data to identify exceptions.
• Utilize technology to effectively manage continuous auditing programs.
• Actively participate in various meetings and group discussions, including process interviews, collaborative sessions, interactive training, and action plan discussions.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or other relevant field with one year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, PMP or other relevant certification preferred.
• Knowledge of data analysis tool like ACL or IDEA, SQL, or PowerBI Preferred.
  
  

Travel

• Occasional travel is expected of this position.
  
  

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
