HR Business Analyst

Compensation: $35hr to $40hr

Are you passionate about driving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless payroll processes? Join our client's team as an HR Business Analyst, specializing in Time & Attendance solutions, where you'll play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Time & Attendance Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on our Time and Attendance system, including entitlement policies, pay and compliance rules, scheduling, mobile applications, and union configurations.
  • Business Rules Application: Apply payroll business rules to the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts, document expected outcomes, and manage defects using Jira and Rational Team Concept (RTC).
  • Process Improvement: Perform root cause analysis to identify system gaps and collaborate on preventive solutions. You'll consolidate findings from various analyses and recommend actions to address payroll issues and special projects.
  • Documentation & Training: Create process documentation, develop training materials, and facilitate demos for a variety of audiences.
  • Implementation Support: Provide end-to-end support during system implementations, partnering closely with key stakeholders in related departments.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Lead special payroll projects, recommend solutions, and develop action plans to meet project deadlines.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SAP Payroll experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years business experience, including at least 1 year HR/PR related experience
  • Strong testing skills preferred (Writing scripts, user acceptance testing, integration/deployment)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
