Job Purpose: As Housing Specialist at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to effectively provide housing to reduce homelessness among our population.
Job Functions
- Demonstrating competency in the knowledge of community resources.
- Assisting clients in an accurate assessment of their own needs and wants.
- Obtaining support to maintain housing in a community.
- Hands on skill training and daily living skills and networking with existing support in the community to maintain stability.
- Developing new community housing resources, providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Demonstrating a high level of respect towards clients and enhancing job performance through continued training and staff development.
- Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Level II Background clearance
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- Bachelor's degree required in a human services field
