The Graphic Designer position is primarily responsible for the overall layout and production design for various applications. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating a high quality product that satisfies the customer’s expectation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Production file set up
  • Create original art/design as needed
  • Design using the client's existing assets
  • Fixing the client's designs/artwork
  • Recreating the client's assets
  • Ability to follow client's design direction and feedback
  • Searching for stock photo/art
  • Communicate directly with clients
  • Responsible for designing, sizing, paneling, and print setup of vehicle wraps
  • Responsible for interpreting work orders, working through the proofing process, and setting up the final product to be produced
  • Communicate with customer and sales team in design and proofing process
  • Provide recommendations on equipment and material needs
  • Stay up to date on market trends and program knowledge
  • Assist team with decal pre-production and production as needed
  • Willingness to work with and interact with customers to develop design concepts and renderings
  • Develop final mechanical files from creative layouts for print and digital production paying close attention to the details of typography and placement of each element in the layout
  • Photo retouching, image editing, and color management
  • Maintain archives of all files
  • Ensure brand standards across color, font, and production quality
  • Communicate with production department with file setup in output to printing and all aspects of finishing and install
  • Help drive innovation, new market opportunities and ideas for growth
  • Help drive growth of the department, participate in sales and customer inquiries
  • Other duties requested by manager


WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:


  • Comfortable with heights (climbing ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
  • Ability to accurately read ruler measurements
  • Ability to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:


  • High School diploma required
  • Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
  • Certificate Program or Associate’s Degree in Design or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ Graphic Design experience
  • Knowledge of Pantone, CMYK & RGB conversions
  • Experience designing graphics for automobiles is a plus.
  • Experience with large format printing is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening
