Specific Duties And Responsibilities

  • Direct Team Members engaged in housekeeping duties inside and outside of facility providing the very best guest service.
  • Order supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure warehouses and stock rooms are organized and well-stocked.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and schedule preventative maintenance/repairs for all housekeeping equipment.
  • Ensure efficient use of departmental resources.
  • Interpret company policies to Team Members and enforce safety regulations.
  • Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, time cards, and prepares periodic reports.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Establish or adjust work schedules to meet the needs of the company.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist Team Members in solving work problems.
  • Evaluates and coaches Team Members in regards to performance and professional development.
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate Team Members to achieve work goals.
  • Communicate with other department supervisors to coordinate activities for cleaning and event support.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director of Operations to ensure budget guidelines are being met.
  • Inspect the environment within the organization to ensure it meets the minimum best practice throughout the organization


STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with internal departments.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule which includes days, nights and weekends.
  • Must be familiar with and able to use most commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to think critically over departmental issues and offer cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Lift up to 30lbs.


Education, Training, And Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ related experience as a Supervisor or Manager, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) greatly preferred
  • Ability to work as part of team and help build and maintain a strong team environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license.
