Entry Level Water and Fire Mitigation and Restoration Technician Positions

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform all services assigned quickly and effectively.
  • Determining water category and class
  • Moisture mapping
  • Equipment specification and sizing
  • Use of moisture instruments
  • Lead and direct others in compliance with insurance company program and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property
  • Daily project paperwork
  • Maintaining and training others in use of ServiceMaster Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Previous knowledge and experience is not required, we are hiring for entry to expert level technicians.[JB4]

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

All applicants must possess the following:

  • Clean Maryland driver's license
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others
  • 21 years or older in age
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Pass drug screening
  • Have a professional attitude and appearance
  • Possess a sense of urgency
  • Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs. [JB5]

  • A valid EPA Lead Certified Renovator license
  • Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)
  • IICRC certification in water damage restoration
  • Working knowledge of restoration industry best practices including IIRC S-500 & S520
