Responsibilities
As a Youth Support Worker under the guidance of our Program Director, you will play a vital role in creating a structured, professional, and nurturing environment for the youth we serve at Crossroads Programs, Inc. - Community Cares for Kids. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with a treatment team to provide strength-based, family-friendly, and trauma-informed services to youth with complex behavioral health challenges.
Designing and delivering individual and group psycho-educational and life skills activities that empower youth to develop self-sufficiency traits, skill sets, habits, and other assets.
Conducting comprehensive assessments of youth's daily functioning to tailor services to their unique strengths and needs.
Providing experiential, hands-on skill-building opportunities for youth to practice and develop valuable life skills.
Serving as a mentor and driver, offering transportation services as needed and reinforcing daily living and socialization skills.
This is a dynamic role that may encompass additional assignments and tasks as required to support our mission of empowering youth to lead successful, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology with one year of experience in direct care for youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
High School diploma holders with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience will also be considered.
A valid driver's license with a clean standing over the past 6 months is required.
Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances.
All new hires are required to successfully complete Safety Crisis Management (SCM) certification within one week of hire.
