About the Role

People love drone shows and they’re starting to appear all over the world. We have the best drone show technology and want to empower people everywhere to operate independently. We’re looking for a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen and natural sales instinct to help drive business growth in this nascent market. Because the market is so new, and there are so many applications for the technology, there are no established sales channels. This position is a mix of traditional sales and business development, involving both responding to inbound inquiries as well as identifying and developing sales opportunities in promising market segments.


This is hybrid or in-person position based in Buda, Texas reporting to our VP of Sales.

 

What You Will Do

- Develop expertise on drone shows and the underlying technology.

- Identify and create new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads

- Strategically identify new business, channel partnerships, and market opportunities.

- Provide a superior customer experience when assisting people evaluating the system.

- Develop custom sales proposals and presentations 

- Manage the sales cycle through to close


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree

- 5+ years of demonstrated success in sales

- Familiarity with complex large dollar sales with long sales cycle

- Background in a consultative selling environment

- An enthusiasm for technology in general and what it can do for the world. You think outside the box and look for new tools and solutions to supercharge the sales process.

- Ability to thrive in ambiguous work environments, demonstrating adaptability and creative problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills

- Highly motivated and ambitious self-starter comfortable working in a startup environment. 

- Highly proficient in CRM, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and G Suite

- Ability to travel
