Job Description

Bose is in midst of our Supply Chain transformation with the goal of developing the most effective and efficient network of manufacturing & logistics partners.

We are looking for Director, SC Strategy and Analytics, who is curious person, passionate about problem solving with strong analytical background and deep understanding of supply chain processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to guide the work and domains on which to focus team. Stakeholders include among others: Bose's Data and Analytics team to support data engineering and tool development; Supply Chain leadership to understand concerns and focus areas; Finance to develop an ongoing perspective on effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain; 3PLs who support Bose in our Supply Chain and Logistics domain.

The Director, Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics will lead a team of analysts using tools they helped develop as well as ad-hoc analytical methods to monitor performance of Bose’s supply chain, identifying and understanding root causes of issues and working with business leaders for finding ways to continuously improve Bose’s supply chain quality, effectiveness, robustness, and performance.

Key Functions

  • Lead a team of supply chain analysts to monitor performance metrics and KPIs of our supply chain network as well as address any ad-hoc or comprehensive analytical needs raised by the organization.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply chain through data analysis and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques and tools to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Guide development of presentations, stakeholder and leadership meetings to highlight issues, root causes and next steps related to SC performance.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve cost, quality, and flexibility of the supply chain network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Lead the evaluation of strategic initiatives to continuously improve Bose’s supply chain robustness, speed, efficiency and effectiveness. Provide fact based, well articulated and thoughtful recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, business analytics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on analytics and strategy. 3PL management experience a plus.
  • Strong foundation in problem-solving and relevant experience. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential issues, and propose optimal solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, self-serve analytical tools (e.g., Metabase)
  • Experience with supply chain modeling, optimization techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven track record of leading analytical teams and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and findings to senior executives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry – including collaborating with CMs, ODMs and 3PLs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
