Olive Recruiting is searching for a Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for our client in Charlotte, NC. This senior-level position will lead the strategy and programming for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives across the Americas. The leader will design and implement programs focused on attracting, retaining, and developing diverse talent. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Total Rewards team on wellbeing initiatives and programs throughout the region, identifying opportunities for integration and implementation.
Responsibilities
Design, lead, execute and evolve the DEIB strategy across the region, focused on attracting, retaining and developing diverse talent while fostering a culture of belonging
Partner with Talent Acquisition to integrate DEIB principles and practices into hiring processes and identify partners to establish diverse talent pools
Create retention and development programs to support the growth of diverse talent
Collaborate with senior leaders to embed DEIB principles into organizational practices and provide relevant metrics to influence processes and policies
Deploy educational initiatives and tools across the region to build a culture of belonging and foster allyship
Partner with Marketing and Communications to establish an external DEIB brand that supports talent attraction and marketing efforts
Collaborate with Total Rewards to execute a holistic wellbeing strategy and implement relevant programming across the region
Partner with the Sustainability team to integrate relevant programs and reporting.
Introduce best practices in the DEIB space as appropriate
Collaborate with Country HR Leaders and key stakeholders to determine local program augmentations and gather feedback for regional programs
Manage and lead an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each team member is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives that are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic, and time-bound
Act as an ambassador for the company, upholding the Founder's Principles, values, and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety in all activities; and adhering to the Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong preference for experience in the DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) space
Prior experience in designing and implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs, particularly in the US and Canada
Experience working with multiple geographies and business units
Fluency in Spanish is preferred
