Dentologie, a dental group based out of Chicago, IL, is seeking a Data Analyst (seated in our Chicago HQ, hybrid an option).

Dentologie has grown over the last ten plus years to twelve awesome practice locations (and counting), in Chicago, IL. Dentologie has also launched offices in the Seattle market, just this month! Dentologie is building technology to both delight dental patients and match our ambitions. To that end, we need a Data Analyst to help us to create a scalable, sustainable, and user-friendly approach to data that will drive decision across the entire organization. This individual is responsible for building, maintaining, and helping design software applications across the organization, to support the core company business goals and enhance patient satisfaction.

We are seeking an analyst who can thrive in a start-up environment, help make data decisions, and focus on the needs of the team and business.

Working closely with (and reporting to) the Director of Data Science, VP of Technology, and the Finance team this individual will push the dental industry to innovate its’ approach to data and patient experience.

The tech team at Dentologie believes there is a “solution to any problem” and that technology/data can help solve issues by collaborating closely with our stakeholders (including those at our clinics) using a hands-on approach.

Located:

Our headquarters, founding members, majority of dental offices and clinical staff are based in Chicago, IL. This role would be seated at our HQ in Chicago (River North), however hybrid is an option.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in: Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence.
  • At least one to three years of experience data analysis, data engineering or data modeling
  • At least two years' experience with Excel
  • At least one year of experience building DAGs in a programming language.
  • Python experience strongly preferred
  • At least two years' experience with SQL strongly preferred
  • At least two years' of experience with a cloud-based Business Intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Interest developing new technical skills to solve problems
