Cost Accountant (Manufacturing) - $100k-110K + Great Benefits + Hybrid Schedule!

Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a leading equipment supplier with a strong values-driven culture, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their growing team.

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their costing processes. You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and updating standard costs (including rollout for a new system in January)
• Analyzing variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Preparing detailed cost reports and supporting financial statement reconciliations
• Collaborating with other departments (Operations, Engineering) to ensure data accuracy
• Utilizing advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMIFS, PivotTables, etc.) to analyze data

To be successful, you will need:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (similar products a plus)
• Experience with a full annual cycle at a company
• Strong understanding of standard cost accounting principles (variances, setting standards)
• Solid accounting background (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations)
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with a go-getter attitude
• The ability to connect the dots from detailed data to high-level financial statements
