Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Accountant at Vital Records Control (VRC) located in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for managing general ledger accounts including fixed assets, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, reconciling accounts, assisting with sales and use tax filings, assisting with lease accounting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Corporate Accountant will also be involved in month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience in financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification is a plus
