Responsibilities
Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
Collaborating with outpatient providers.
Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family.
Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
Education, Competencies And Credentials
Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or provisional license required
Experience working with managed care companies is a plus.
Prior experience working with eating disorders is highly desired.
Bilingual is a plus.
Hours
Monday – Friday 40 hours per week. Some evenings required.
