Currently seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to obtain and verify claim-related factual information from agents, policyholders and claimants to complete Notice of Loss documents for all lines of business. The representative is also responsible to accurately process all new claims and correspondence for all regions and all lines of business, answering claim and provider inquiries, routing all other company related calls to the appropriate personnel, and perform department related administrative tasks. In this role, you will manage a high volume of incoming customer inquiries via phone, email and other communication channels. This position will be located in our Home Office in Sarasota, FL or in our Lake Mary, FL office.

Qualifications

Experience

Required

  • High School Diploma.
  • Two years of general clerical work or other work experience which led to the knowledge of claims processing.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with customers.
  • Advanced customer service skills, ability to handle high call volume and meet performance metrics.
  • Strong keyboard skills.
  • Good computer knowledge including experience with Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload with strong attention to detail .
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
  • Solid collaboration skills with team and other departments.


Preferred

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • P&C insurance experience preferred.
