CHICAGO FAMILY SEEKING FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT FOR 4 OLDER BOYS!

CHICAGO, IL (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)- A busy single mom in Chicago is seeking a dedicated and reliable FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT to help care for her 4 boys ages 14, 13, 10, and 9. The ideal candidate will be energetic, athletic, and capable of managing the dynamic needs of the household.

Responsibilities include managing school pick-ups, coordinating between three boys attending one school and one boy attending another. Assist with homework, dinner preparation, and driving the children to various activities and appointments. Handle household tasks related to the children, including laundry, organizing their belongings, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Run errands, restock household items, and support mom with any additional tasks as needed. The nanny will also need to ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times.

Hours during the school year are Tuesday- Saturday 2pm-9pm, and during the summer, Tuesday-Saturday, 1pm-9pm with guarantee pay for 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, and adapt to changes in the family’s schedule.

The nanny should be willing to occasionally work at dad’s house in Hyde park, near the University of Chicago, where there are two dogs that require basic care, including letting them out, and feeding them. Mom and the boys currently live in the city and plan to move about a mile away from dad in the next couple of months. Open to potential travel with the family in the future, requiring a valid passport. The family would like the nanny to be vaccinated and up-to-date with general vaccinations. Ability to sign an NDA, demonstrating trustworthiness and discretion. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Pay is $25/hr, gross, via payroll. Benefits include 3-5 sick days, 10 PTO and paid holidays. Start date is in the Summer going into the Fall.

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
