Catering Coordinator

A prominent investment firm in San Francisco is seeking an Office Services & Catering Coordinator to join their team! This is a contract, hybrid role with the opportunity to become full-time with the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all facilities, coordinating and setting up multiple events a week, and ensuring that events are coordinated and executed smoothly in accordance with client expectations and specifications. ** This is a temp-to-perm role with the compensation between $75-85K, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime pay**

Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional workplace experience for all employees, clients, and visitors.
• Oversee and maintain all facilities, as well as office supplies and snack inventory.
• Coordinate all catering – breakfast, lunch, and beverage service – currently averaging 30 set-ups a week.
• Coordinate all firm lunches and birthday celebrations, working with vendors on menu and set-ups for buffet-style lunches and appetizer menus.
• Help with set-ups and break downs of conference rooms before/after senior-level meetings.
• Have a keen eye for details and alert Facilities of any extra cleaning that is needed.
• Perform administrative tasks or participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with ordering and organizing catering for a large office
• Ability to interact with and serve high-level management, remaining poised and composed at all times
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and resourceful
• Strong communication and organization skills
