Summary

Job Summary:

The IT Business Systems Analyst position is directly responsible for support of the Finance, Tax, and Accounting business areas and managing regular and on-going requests for application performance, enhancements, configuration and corrective action, while also being assigned to concurrent projects. The role is highly engaged with Trinchero’s business stakeholders and IT partners in Business Process, Data, Infrastructure and Project Management teams.

Essential Functions

To identify, define, design, and implement enterprise business information systems in an efficient manner and support the business users in the effective use of FI and CO modules in SAP ECC EHP6, including banking, fixed assets, planning, special purpose ledger, profitability analysis, product costing, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders and financial/regulatory reporting. Working knowledge of FICO integrations with other SAP modules and SAP reporting tools Report Writer and Query is required. Knowledge of BPC, BW/BI, S/4Hana and TTB Compliance is desired.

  • Responsible for delivering solutions and initiatives within the SAP FICO functional area and supporting integrations and feeds of financial and banking data in and out of SAP ECC.
  • Meet with users and management to gather, define, and document business requirements in sufficient detail to determine scope of configuration or development required.
  • Translate customer needs to business requirements.
  • Liaise with other business analysts to ensure complete requirements are defined.
  • Provide impact analysis for enhancement or change requirements.
  • Author and communicate business scope, process design, business systems design, functional specifications and system test and training plans.
  • Work closely with other IT resources to design, develop and deliver system solutions.
  • Work with functional managers and the team sponsor to obtain necessary resources to support the team's requirements.
  • Lead system and business process test planning and execution. Ensure users thoroughly participate in testing.
  • Document all requirements with process maps, input and output requirements and business benefits.
  • Manage assigned change requests while coordinating with your business partners to set priorities and scheduled completion dates.
  • Production support including emphasis during peak periods.
  • Monitor and maintain interfaces to other systems for efficient processing.
  • Project
  • Able to comprehend and synthesize project requirements into a plan of action, facilitating project needs agreement of managers and co-workers via regular and on-going discussion, training and hands-on demonstration.
  • Drive activities within assigned project tasks to meet project timelines, budget and quality.
  • Understanding of implementation methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Provide detailed documentation and/or presentations for users on project design and actual processes for approval and testing.
  • Maintain project records and status reports, as well as a record of changes and additions to the system in order to provide an audit trail for subsequent use.
  • Provide high level flow charts, documentation, and presentations showing solution design, scope and resources required for management to obtain approval.

Other Functions:

  • Provide project leadership and management as necessary.
  • Create and deliver presentations to inform or compel action.
  • Analyze current systems and provide management with alternative methods if necessary.
  • Provide guidance, documentation methodologies, development specifications, and system information to contractors / consultants as necessary.
  • Primary work locations can be Remote, Lodi and/or Napa CA.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting SAP FICO
  • Experience in functionality and configuration of SAP FICO modules and integration to MM and SD modules.
  • Experience in developing SAP Report Writer and Query reports and LSMW routines for data loads and changes.
  • Experience in working with ABAP developers in designing, building, and maintaining custom programs and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. – Emphasis on self-starting, and multi-tasking with deep commitment to individual responsibility and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Capability to build strong working relationships with business areas.
  • Ability to facilitate and drive decisions and clarification.
  • Ability to work independently with short deadlines.
  • Able to comprehend and synthesize project requirements into a plan of action, facilitating the agreement of managers and co-workers on project needs through discussion, training and hands-on demonstration.
  • Strong team player. Must work well both independently and as part of a team. Must be open to new ideas and new technology.

Desired

  • Working knowledge of SAP automation data upload tool like GLSU or Winshuttle.
  • Knowledge of data/file exchange tools and processes with external partners.
  • Knowledge of BPC, Esker Vendor Software and S/4 Hana.
  • Knowledge of Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).
  • Business Intelligence (BI) application experience including SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
  • Microsoft SQL Server / database experience.
  • Participation in SAP implementation/upgrade project(s).
