About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team in the rapidly growing field of digital healthcare solutions. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and closing deals, while also contributing to the sales team’s success and transition post-sale by taking on some sales operations responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads: Proactively research and identify prospective clients in the digital healthcare space. Use a combination of market research, networking, and targeted outreach to build a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, medical professionals, technology partners, and industry influencers. Cultivate long-term partnerships and expand our network within the digital healthcare ecosystem.
  • Clearly communicate our company's value proposition and showcase our digital healthcare solutions at Verikai through lead generation and coordination with the sales team. Customize presentations to address the unique needs and pain points of each potential client.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and tactics. Leverage market insights and competitive intelligence to position our solutions as the preferred choice in the digital healthcare landscape.
  • Collaborate in the sales process: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and customer success, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the sales process. Coordinate internal resources to effectively meet client needs and achieve revenue targets.
  • Drive revenue growth: Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals. Continuously monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Sales operations: Support the sales team with notes and tracking in Hubspot to ensure robust knowledge on all prospects and efficiency post-sale.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Generally, 3+ years as a BDR or SDR.
  • Proven track record of success in selling digital healthcare solutions or similar technology-based products/services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex healthcare and technology landscapes.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with key decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in using Hubspot to manage leads and track sales performance, as well as utilizing the many features provided from A to Z, including sequencing emails, prospecting via Hubspot, etc.
  • Proficiency in using ZoomInfo

$60,000.00 -$80,000.00

The wage range for this job is based on role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, experience of the candidate, the role's scope, complexity, and other business and organizational needs. In addition to the base compensation, we offer a competitive Total Rewards package, which includes but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k) plan for full-time and part-time employees who are eligible for benefits.
