Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Background in physical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics or allied disciplines also desirable
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton CT are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
- Provide biopharmaceutics support to projects in various stages of drug development through experimental testing in a laboratory setting
- Execute testing protocols including USP dissolution, solubility determination, precipitation and flux assays
- Develop and execute quantitative analytical methodologies to support determination of drug content from in vitro dissolution studies
- Working knowledge of HPLC and UV assay techniques, as they apply to quantitation of drugs in solution
- Evaluation of novel protocols and instrumentation to address biopharmaceutical questions (e.g. real-time measurement of particle size during dissolution testing)
- Document findings via an electronic lab notebook system and through technical reports
- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and must be able to balance analytical rigor and resource burn with the study’s goals
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Customer focused, comfortable in a fast paced environment, a problem solver, and has a positive, optimistic attitude
- Ability to communicate and collaborate well in a cross functional environment
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail, strong computational ability
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
