My client for this project is healthcare institutions and Hospitals that are focused on providing proactive healthcare services. These organizations would benefit from a predictive model that can assist in identifying individuals who may be at risk of heart disease, enabling them to offer targeted interventions such as lifestyle modifications, medication, or further diagnostic tests.
By leveraging machine learning techniques on the dataset containing patient attributes such as age, sex, chest pain type, resting blood pressure, cholesterol levels, fasting blood sugar, resting electrocardiographic results, maximum heart rate achieved during exercise, presence of exercise-induced angina, old peak (ST depression induced by exercise relative to rest), and slope of the peak exercise ST segment, the model can learn patterns and relationships that contribute to the development of heart disease.
Ultimately, the goal is to develop a reliable predictive model that can accurately identify individuals at risk of heart disease, thereby assisting healthcare providers in making informed decisions and improving patient outcomes. -
