  • DERMS- Algoithm Formulation and Integration with Modern Grid

    - Present

    • Formulate algorithm/flowchart to integrate DERs-Management System within modern grid to enhance reliability
    • Improve integration of DERMS with DMS and SCADA to ensure efficient control by forming DER groups and introduce control strategy for DER groups for maximum impact
    • Apply various algorithms- DFS, Dijkstra to solve challenges related to high renewable penetration
    • Test developed algorithm on IEEE standard system to demonstrate validity and implementation

  • Laser Etching and Hydrophobic Metals

    -Presented process of sliver formation on metal surface by laser etching and suggested use of lasers on 2 perpendicular axes to optimize manufacturing process
    -Discussed applications of hydrophobic metals in different fields viz. military, material sciences, etc.

  • Wireless Power- Future of Transmission

    -Suggested Electromagnetic wave concentration to transmit power in short range
    -Studied Inductive and Capacitive Charging with a scope of power transmission

    -Designed frequency detector with an accuracy of 0.2% and power factor meter using µC-8051 timers, counters and electronic hardware (Op-amp, Logic gates); used Autodesk Eagle to prepare schematic for PCB design

    -Built remote controlled combat robot powered by 12 V battery using DC motors, Gears and Belts from scrap material
