Barrio Logan College Institute's (www.blci.org) mission is to break the cycle of poverty by preparing underserved students to be the first in their families to go to college through after school programs that begin in third grade.

Served as board of advisor to help children's author build business plan and take the titles she had created under a publisher to her own business, marketing/sales strategy and plan.

Served as Board of Director to half way house for women recovering from substance abuse and on road to independent living/working again.
