Failure is often the path to success. Failure and quitting are different things. Failure is a temporary condition, unless you quit. I’ve failed a lot but I try not to quit. Failure is about learning what to do better the next time. In the Live Event Industry every day is a new opportunity. Keep working, keep grinding, your growth may be slow, almost imperceptible at time, it may (will) take years. It is almost impossible to stop someone who doesn’t quit. https://lnkd.in/eepSY4pa Florida's recent approval for Walt Disney World Resort's development blueprint allows the world's largest and most visited theme park destination resort to add a fifth theme park, and, while there's no official plan for this yet, theme park fans and industry insiders have been discussing the possibilities. The attached has "Theme Park Insider" Robert Niles pleading his case for this to be an indoor theme park- though it appears to be more of a heat-stroke inspired (perspired?) fever dream than an actual plan. Since that same approved blueprint for Walt Disney World Resort's future development allows for two additional "minor" gated venues as well as that fifth major theme park, perhaps one of those smaller concepts could be indoors... Considering the same pundits are all about championing outdoor theme parks like the upcoming Universal Epic Universe and the recently opened Fantasy Springs expansion themed area at Tokyo DisneySea, perhaps their "blue sky" thoughts should still allow for actual blue skies!

Focus on Connection more than Volume 🫂🤝 Whether you’re a hosted buyer trying to book all your required meetings or an exhibitor trying to scan leads, don’t forget to try and have meaningful conversations that are rooted in curiosity. Find the people who you can learn from and connect on a personal level. That is the whole crux of live events. Do some research and put in the effort reach out to your network. Put yourself out there.
