LinkedIn is first and foremost the most important platform to expand your network, especially in sales. Tradeshows, networking events, local industry associations, are all great avenues to meet other sales professionals, as well as potential clients. In the aerospace industry, there's several associations that have local chapters and host networking events, so it's a great opportunity to take advantage when they are available to attend.

How do you become a head of sales marketing?
Developing skills in sales requires several components that take years to master. A sales professional must be open to learning from those before you, not be afraid to fail or receive a "no", ask as many questions as possible, act as a chameleon to accommodate customer requests, collaborate with team members and upper management, accept constructive criticism, then pass along these honed skills to those up and coming.
