How do you increase your store revenue, AOV, and CR quickly? Find an offer that works. And don't stop testing new ones. Offer testing is an underrated DTC strategy. Most brands stuck with the same offer month after month, year after year. Same Black Friday deals, same Welcome offer, same Cart abandonment offer. Nor there's any logic to the process. Most copy their competition. Or reverse engineer their margin. With Q3 starting, you need to start testing offers for Q4. Without a tested offer, you are leaving a lot to chance. Here's how we offer testing - --> Create 4-5 unique offers - Percentage discounts: 10%, 20%, etc. - Dollar amount discounts: $5 off, $10 off - Tiered Offers: $10 Off $100, $15 Off 150, etc. - Value-added offers: Buy one, get one free; free gift with purchase - Shipping offers: Free shipping, discounted expedited shipping - Loyalty offers: Points, VIP early access to new products Create at least 4-5 offers to start with. --> Run email campaigns or on-site pop-ups to test offers You need quick data to test offers, so it's best to run it as a campaign or on-site pop-up. The goal is to collect data over 3-4 days for each offer. Run small targeted campaigns to test different offers. --> Monitor key metrics An offer will have an impact over - Direct metrics -  - Conversion rate - Average order value Indirect metrics -  - Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) - Store Revenue - Customer lifetime value Focus on direct metrics for testing the metrics. --> Dump non-performing one. For every good offer, you will have 2 bad offers. Keep on separating good from bad. Don't run bad offers again. Instead, try to find variations of good offers. The goal is to get 3-4 good offers, which you can rotate all through the year. Don't wait till Q4 to test your offer. #dtc #ecommerce

They’re one of the secret weapons that can improve your product’s visibility without being visible on your listing page. I’ve been optimizing listings for a while now, and I can tell you—backend keywords can really make a difference if used right. Here are some lessons I’ve learned along the way: 🔍 First, what are backend keywords? Backend keywords are the hidden terms you add during listing setup to help Amazon match your products with relevant customer searches. They’re like the backstage crew that makes your show (or listing!) shine. 📏 The 250-500 Character Limit Dilemma Amazon says 250 characters, but from my experience, it varies. Some categories allow up to 500 characters. Just be cautious—if you go over the limit, Amazon might ignore everything, so staying within bounds is key! 🎯 My Backend Keyword Optimization Tips: 1️⃣ Synonyms and Variations Are Gold: Think about all the ways people search for your product. If you sell shoes, use terms like "footwear," "sneakers," or even "kicks." I’ve even added some Spanish variations for broader reach. 2️⃣ Avoid Repeating Keywords: If you’ve already mentioned a keyword in your bullet points or description, don’t waste space repeating it in the backend. Amazon’s algorithm is smarter than you think—it’ll account for that. 3️⃣ Watch the Misspellings: I used to add common misspellings thinking it would help. Turns out, Amazon’s AI autocorrects most of them, so it’s not worth including them. Stick to variations and leave the autocorrect to Amazon. 4️⃣ Use Spaces, Not Commas: This one’s a bit technical, but trust me, using spaces ensures Amazon reads your keywords properly. 5️⃣ No Articles or Prepositions: Words like “the,” “and,” “with”—you don’t need them in the backend. Use that space for more impactful terms. 6️⃣ Products It’s Compatible With: If your item works with other products, include those terms. For example, if you’re selling phone cases, mention the specific models they’re compatible with. ⚠️ Key Caution: Never use competitor brand names. It’s against Amazon’s policy and could get you into trouble. To me, backend keywords are like the unsung heroes of Amazon SEO. They might not be visible on your listing, but they play a huge role in your ranking and visibility. Optimizing them strategically can help you reach more potential customers—without much effort. The brand building playbook of yore - that whole “hire a PR firm, take pretty pictures, pay for events and get the fancy people to post about you” - did very little to move the needle for Little Saints .
