The Delania Baumann Benevolence Fund provides children and young adults in need with items such as school supplies and clothing, which in turn, boosts self-esteem and confidence so that they may focus their attention on their studies.

The fund supports Roland Public Schools, set up by her children and supported by generous private donors so that her legacy may continue for years to come. She was a life-long teacher and proud member of the Roland Public Schools system for over 20 years, teaching Home Economics, now called Family & Consumer Sciences, as well as Food & Nutrition, Marriage/Parenting, Career Orientation, Adult & Family Living, Housing, and Psychology.

Delania also helped establish Roland’s job shadowing program through which many students have found job placement. Roland was her community where she helped students from kindergarten to 12th grade when they needed something like a coat to keep them warm in the winter, a pair of shoes that fit or pants without holes in them. She was even known to loan out her husband's ties to students going on job interviews.
