Thanks to the Network Automation Forum and Enterprise Infrastructure Acceleration (EIA), Lucas Boyd, Mike Lester, and I will be hosting a Templating Workshop at AutoCon2 in Denver. With so many excellent Templating resources out there, why would we do this? Well, we want to build on those excellent resources and showcase how useful Jinja2 templating can be across many typical network engineering and IT activities. We have about 10 "mini projects" to illustrate different activities where templating can be powerful. Network configurations to be sure but also current state "recon", detailed procedures, statements of work, and more! We will be working with local data as well as data extracted from APIs. In fact we will be using SuzieQ a bit "off label" as we will be using its ExternalDB function to store design/intent data.
