I'm a firm believer in having an accountability partner. This is especially important for newer salespeople. It can be easy to lack consistency in areas if you aren't managing your time or calendar appropriately. (which could be a discipline issue.) So if you lack discipline, identify a teammate or someone in you org (besides your manager) that can help hold you accountable to benchmarks and goals you've set for yourself. For example, lets say you want to hold yourself to 20 calls per day. - Identify your accountability partner - Share each of your plans with each other - Have a mid-week and Friday EOW check-in - Set any other expectations with your accountability partner on how they can help you stay on track (this could be a joint call blitz together with putting some skin in the game that the individual with lower calls during the blitz has to buy the other person lunch) While this is a very simple example, its applicable in many areas. Ultimately, this can help you build good habits so you stay on track to your goals & objectives. And eventually, you won't need an accountability in this area however it's something you can always choose to implement. Remember, selling is a team sport and you don't have to go at it alone. #sales #saas #techsales #accountexecutives #sdrs
