The purpose of the Council is to provide guidance and expertise on ensuring the security, reliability and interoperability of the nation's communication infrastructure and public safety communications. As an appointee, Ms. Quintana will work with other Council members to provide recommendations to the FCC that address the stability and maintenance of those initiatives. The Council will also work to ensure the communications capacity of service providers and public safety entities, and the collaboration between the two, during large scale emergencies or other disruptions.
