A brief video recap of some of the conversations I had while photographing the #nodapl protests taking place in North Dakota. A pastor from New York, a student from out of state, a neighbor from a nearby town- These are a few of the voices at Standing Rock.

'My Syrian Neighbor' (Formerly titled "Questions & Americans") is a documentary I created in the Spring of 2016 with the goal of providing a little insight into the life of a Syrian man who lived down the road from me with his family. "A photo is taken of a Syrian man and soccer referee, Gibran and his family in front of a U.S Immigration and Citizenship courthouse. This is the story of how it was taken."

Drawing inspiration from Dziga Vertov's 1929 "Man with a Movie Camera", "A Student With a 360 Camera" aims to capture a candid glimpse of New York City through the lens of the 360 video camera in public spaces, allowing the viewer to observe the people around it in different settings throughout Manhattan. Filmed December 30th, 2015.

Table For Two is the first film by Letsvid Productions shot entirely in 360 degrees. The film, about a bizarre conversation John Vincent has over a shake and some fries, is the result of a month of creative solutions in overcoming a restrictive budget and limited technology yet still producing a piece of new cinematography unlike traditional film to date.

"Spare Conversations- 8th Ave" is the first piece in what might become a series of videos dedicated to capturing the essence of individuals who might not be heard otherwise. The Spare Conversation series will hopefully bring to light nothing more than a few minutes of a single conversation on a particular day and nothing less than the subject's humanity.
