Electrical distributors - the first half is officially "in the books". For many it has been a "challenge" defined as "nominal growth" but some have had big wins (especially if they have won a data center deal!). We're hearing some wild things in the market ... orders being placed in one part of the country for projects on the other side to winning business where nominal margin on material but making it up by charging for services / project management. And then there is the everyday "knife fight" to win business with some days wondering "will the phone ring?" or "will there be an email that has an order instead of ones about project / shipping delays?" Every day is different, from what we're hearing ... the business is running "hot and cold". But there are people who are "winning" and taking share and positioning for the future. And people investing to be better. I need a couple of minutes of your time ... perhaps while the burgers are cooking on the grill tomorrow? Or before the day is done?
