You’re struggling to get your sales presentations noticed. How can you make them more engaging?
Don’t be afraid to call out the fluff - meaning “This slide is intended to tell you “X”, and I think you are well informed so in going to skip it unless you would like me to cover it.” In my experience this does a few things: - Shows you respect their knowledge and experience. - Saves time for more important activities like discovery and qualification. - Helps you present less slides and get to the sizzle (demo, data, value prop). Everyone feels rushed these days - condensing time and expanding value should be the main priority in my humble opinion.

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) goes into effect today which gives consumers the right to request information about how companies process their personal data. The law also allows consumers to request that companies correct, delete, or stop using their personal data. Companies must comply with these requests within 45 days and may be fined up to $7,500 if they don't. This is a great presentation by privacy expert Harvey Nusz, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA with an explanation of the details.
