*My professional experiences have mostly been in the alcohol and drug addictions counseling field. However, I've begun to expand my horizons by counseling clients in anger management and relapse prevention. I also teach the alcohol and drug classess for individuals who aspire to become New Jersey state certified or licensed counselors.
*Additionally, I have ventured into public speaking and writing (non-fiction). I have several writing projects in the works for publication and have had previous works published.
*My goals are to teach online for a few colleges and universities and hopefully secure a tenured-track professorship with a college or university. In addition, I want to do research in the field of alcohol/drug addiction and expand my writing and public speaking venues.

Last week I had the chance to present at the NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania Wellness Conference. It was a great opportunity to once again bring awareness to Intergenerational Trauma. 🔑 Key Points: ⛓️💥 Intergenerational Trauma impacts our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. ⛓️💥 Behaviors that once were meant to be for survival was due to the type of environment experienced at the time. ⛓️💥 These behaviors become maladaptive once they no longer serve the purpose of survival, and leads to difficulty in relationships, friendships, and even families. ⛓️💥 You can be a generational cycle breaker by becoming aware of these behaviors, and taking action to change them.
