The Powerlist is an annual publication that was first published in 2007 in a bid to provide professional role models for young people of African and African Caribbean heritage. The publication is distributed primarily to schools and universities, but it has become heavily requested by corporates as well, as it is recognised as a valuable source of identifying black talent.

Every year, the National Diversity Council compiles a list of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology to feature the highest caliber of executive female leaders within the technology industry. These women are the most prominent leaders, and they have reached the top of their profession by being effective leaders in their organization. They drive change, innovate, and inspire others to succeed while contributing to business growth.

The annual Women to Watch supplement is compiled by Cranfield University. The 2019 edition features 50 Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic (BAME) women, showcasing inspiring professionals who come from backgrounds historically under-represented in the senior leadership pipeline.

Computer Weekly’s annual list of the UK’s great women in tech, which is now in its seventh year, was introduced in 2012 to create a visible list of role models in the technology industry.

Scoring for the Top 100 BAME Leaders focussed primarily on two key areas: measurable success and leading by example.
Deemed to have the necessary knowledge to provide oversight in a governance role, individuals were scored on their ability to deliver sustained growth and profitability within an organisation.
