i’m not saying you need to be a content creator to understand the creator economy… …but we absolutely need more creators working on the brand side! as a creator, my most memorable experiences working with brands have been because the person i communicated with was transparent, collaborative, and genuinely excited about my work. i look to these experiences when i send outreach emails, negotiate rates, and provide feedback because being easy to work with is just as valuable to me as the work itself, and a major component (IMO) of long-term partnerships. being a part of the pipeline on the brand side has also made me more understanding as a creator and more intentional with my work. when you’re chosen for a brand partnership, 9 times out of 10 someone like me went to bat for you to their higher ups to prove that you were the best choice!!! when there’s trust, mutual respect, and genuine enthusiasm on both sides, that’s when magic happens ❤️‍🔥 do you agree? what’s the most memorable experience you’ve had working with a brand/creator? #influencermarketing #creatoreconomy #contentcreator #communityengagement #btwifanybrandinfluencermanagersarereadingthishiletscollab
