No Limits Media is a non-profit organization whose mission is to change the image of people with disabilities. Its initial efforts included a groundbreaking book called Raising the Bar which for the first time provided Sports Illustrated quality photography for Paralympic athletes. The book led to a highly successful exhibit of the photographs at the United Nations. More recently, No Limits supported the WGBH/PBS website Medal Quest, which provided coverage of the 2012 London Summer Paralympic Games and WGBH/PBS’ Ice Warriors, which profiled the U.S. sled hockey team at the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympic Games. In addition, No Limits is working on media projects with Boston Ballet, the Perkins School for the Blind, and the Disability Rights Fund. It is also helping create a national television program centered on adapted sports.
