The engineering team at SaaSGrid pumps out features faster than I can write about them, but I wanted to highlight one thing we released recently that has made a big impact for our customers. SaaS leaders are used to looking at monthly ARR, but that can leave them in the dark to the day-in-day-out changes in their customer base. Are new customers getting signed? Are renewals happening (and happening on time?) Is there organic expansion or contraction? Our new ARR Movements timeline gives day level granularity for every change in ARR, down to the specific products and quantities that were updated. Keeping track of data in real time lets our users move from reactive proactive, and never get surprised at the end of the month. If you're a SaaS leader, you're constantly faced with hard decisions about how to grow your business. Do you know how much the internal meeting you just had cost? Was it really worth it? At airevplatform.com, we tag, report, and track every hour spent by the team. This practice was in place before I joined—it was initially geared towards engineers—and the salesperson inside me initially revolted against it. Let’s be honest, nobody enjoys tagging hours. Over time, though, it grew on me. Tagging still sucks, but the data we gather is priceless. Now, we can easily track the cost of every meeting, and I can measure each person's individual efficiency, even for part-time team members. Here are some examples of the conversations we are having: "You were prospecting for 4 hours each day for a week and got no leads? We either have a volume problem, a messaging problem, or a targeting problem. Let's dig in." "I spent 1 hour prospecting last week. Am I overwhelmed with meetings? What kinds of meetings?" "How much did we spend to acquire this client? Was it 15 calls for $99/month contract with no expansion potential?" "We invited 20 people to a meeting that really only required 3? Let’s examine this and make sure we don’t overspend on the planned budget in the future." As our company grows, I may ease some of the rules around tagging and automate it as much as possible, but this method has opened my eyes to a lot of efficiencies and inefficiencies in our process. In a world where bootstrapping and profitability are becoming cool again, this approach is one of the ways to keep track of what's working and what's not.

I have surveyed numerous LiveRecover clients over the past few weeks and overall findings have been interesting ... Whether the brand(s) is generating over $100MM+ ARR or sub $1MM, top two reasons for concern before installing the app were: #1 Is not understanding the laws when it comes to SMS — P2P (live agents) vs. A2P (marketing messages). Educating our community on P2P / live agents and why this channel is fully compliant with TCPA/CTIA laws will continue to be a priority for us. 📝 Yes, we actually have real humans that become an extension of the team when it comes to brand efficacy, conversions, insights, etc. Just ask our familia over at Heart & Soil who got to meet some of our agent team last week 🤗 ! #2 Is cannibalization on the brands current automated abandonment journeys through email/sms. Even when brands have been using our platform for years, they sometimes forget the core difference of what we do 😆. More carts identified 🛒 > more insights to customers 🧠 > more revenue to your store 💰 > period. If you understand #1, it is much easier to get point #2 — as fundamentally, we are going to be able to recover 8x more checkouts vs existing flows because you can LEGALLY text customers with a human. The opt-in process is less stringent for P2P subscribers. TLDR; It is never “this or that”. It is always “Both”! Your brand uses Klaviyo for sms/email? Great. Here is how you leverage LR. Your brand uses Attentive + Klaviyo? Amazing. Here is how you can recover 20% revenue lift using live agents within minutes (insert LR). You use Postscript + PS sales + Klaviyo? You are ahead of the curve! Here is how you can expand wallet share for your brand with P2P / live agents in tandem with this stack (insert LR). Catch my drift? It's safe to say that GTM in 2025 will look radically different from today's playbook... After analyzing trends and data across the SaaS landscape, here are my three predictions that will reshape how we approach Go-To-Market: 1. The Referral Revolution 📈 Referral networks are not only growing but also exploding. With a 20% year-over-year growth rate since 2020, successful SaaS companies are treating referrals with the same operational rigor as their sales processes. This is no longer just about partner programs—it's about building systematic, scalable referral engines. 2. The Great Platform Unbundling 🎯 While other B2B sectors chase the "platform dream," GTM tools are heading in the opposite direction. Why? AI is changing the game. The winners will be laser-focused solutions that solve specific problems exceptionally well, not jack-of-all-trades platforms that solve everything mediocrely. 3. The CRM Text Takeover 📱 The walls between personal and professional communication are crumbling. Text messaging is not only becoming acceptable but essential. Watch for CRM systems to finally embrace this shift and make text conversations as trackable as emails. The companies that adapt to these changes first will have a massive competitive advantage. (2) Unifies the data across Lead, Contact, Campaign, Account, Opportunity objects for EASY reporting. (3) Enables a 1:many relationship between a buyer and a sales process to account for non-linear buying journeys without overwriting data (e.g. buyer gets recycled and re-MQLs and you'd previously have to overwrite the last MQL date). (4) Unifies the data in CRM (and not BI) for easier paper trail and troubleshooting, but custom object data can still be leveraged in BI for more advanced reporting. (5) Ties pipeline back to "tipping point" (aka the reason the buyer was sent to sales) which is better than original source or last touch/primary campaign source. (6) Also, works for tracking sales outbound, partner, product qualified leads, customer expansion. (7) Unmanaged SFDC package (meaning you have access to all the flows/object/metadata/etc and there is no subscription fee). You can install in SFDC (with our help). Hundreds of hours put into it to account for edge cases, 35 different Lead conversion scenarios, merging, and more. (8) We're coming up to our 20th deployment in the last 18 months in complex B2B SaaS orgs. 20 is a lot for a small agency like CS2 that has most clients on long term retainers (and not in the business of churn/burn through clients).
