What do you do if you want to maximize advertising opportunities through strategic thinking?
To get to the audience unlock be purposefully curious. Cultural anthropology (culture creators) in marketing is an untapped skill. What are people saying and doing on social? How are they searching for your brand/product? What are the behaviors and motivators that make your brand/product the solution?

How can you ensure your digital strategy is inclusive of people with disabilities?
Currently, ~20% of the US population identifies as a person with a disability, and most people will experience living with a disability at some point in their lives. That means we need to center the perspectives and experiences of the disabled community early and often to ensure opportunities and solutions are what the community desires. We must also hire them across roles, including leadership, to inform the work. Lastly, be curious when an assignment does not explicitly include the disabled community; we create space for all their intersections.

What steps can you take to ensure your digital campaigns are inclusive?
Inclusive marketing requires an understanding of identity, lived experiences, and intersectionality. Through planning, brands can center cultural nuance and equitable investment while measuring the impact and outcome between the brand and community. In addition to audience context and investment, brands would benefit from considering the data and the teams behind the technology used to create content and deploy media to mitigate bias. Inclusive marketing is a cross-capability business imperative that drives all brand pillars and, most importantly, community impact.
