#MiddleEastTensions | It has long been an assumption that the Israel Defense Forces could not pull off an attack like they did yesterday without USAF aerial refuelers. If it did, those Israeli pilots would be on a one-way suicide mission. The Israeli Air Force apparently used over 100 F-35Is in this attack, and at least some of those planes had to fly 2,000 kilometers (1,242 miles). The IDF is claiming all aircraft returned from their missions intact. The United States Department of Defense has denied any involvement in the attack. #Israel has proved it can attack #Iran at will independently, and that will change the calculations of capitals across the region. Id like to share this small clip of wisdom from my teacher Soke Haisan Kaleak of Sanuces Ryu Jiujitsu/Kuroshi Kai Kan and the training systems that he allows me to instruct of T.N.T( Tactical Neutralization Training C.Q.C). And how these principles of martial science in the martial arts apply to us in the Protection lifestyle. I choose to use lifestyle because although we are professionals in our industry, we should also be professional protectors in our daily lives, this is a lifestyle, not just a job. “Kill the intent” - What I gather from this as a principle in our lifestyle is knowing situational awareness. “It’s all in the eyes Chico” - As Tony Montana infamously said, when on a detail you can tell enough about your surroundings (area, people, principal/client) by the eyes, body language, and even the “set up” of the venue that you’re in. We should be looking and identifying all of these, who, what, where, when, and even the why. (I’ll go into detail later on in my book about these) we should have a demeanor that’s calm but also fierce and understanding. Not the typical bodyguard “mean mug” or stern frown to try and intimidate people, but a posture that can be both “gray man” and/or the sentinel. We’re looking at who’s looking, doing, observing, and neglecting, making it clear to whoever is observing us/clients that we are here and intend to protect our assets. This posture can “kill the intent” of the possible opposition. The roadblocks in protection are what we in Sanuces Ryu Jiujitsu( by Dr. Moses Powell) call the 7 deadly sins. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, SLEEPY ATTITUDE, FAILURE TO RECOGNIZE DANGER ZONE, FALSE ASSUMPTIONS, POOR JUDGEMENT OF DISTANCE, BAD POSITION, and most of all “BECOME COMFORTABLE TOO SOON”. To Be Continued………..
