So a little building in public: Right now for Cellular Farms, we are soft launching our first product, called Brocclean. It's being sold b2b and d2c under a consumer brand called PointBotanicals.com. We've been testing for a few months and the following marketing programs seem to be best for our product/market: -Meta ads to a Shopify page. -Shortform video for Tiktok/Reels/Shorts -LinkedIn organic posts -The Social Commerce app, Flip. There's a bunch of systems set up to let me manage this single handedly, but we're working to get a marketing firm on board asap to improve all sorts of things and to manage paid search. The above channels represent so many customers, it's hard to fathom.

I truly enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts on the topic of the shortening lifecycle of beauty brands. Here is a snippet of mine: "Because beauty brand lifespans are shortening, it is important that we are able to differentiate brands with staying power from brands that will end up being a flash in the pan. There are much more of the latter than the former in the market right now, and if a brand is not well-positioned, it will be challenging for that brand to survive over the long-term. That’s why we focus on understanding each brand’s differentiators and long-term relevance." We built Beanstalk on two hypotheses: 1) Point solutions are now available for nearly every diverse need across 5 generations of workers, but the industry lacked an infrastructure to deliver them at scale, and 2) Employee choice is the key to unlocking benefits utilization. We’re all more likely to use something we choose for ourselves and our families. Now, we can. Brett and I also talked about my past experience taking a company to IPO as its sales and marketing leader, and why I think it’s so important that companies in the risk-averse benefits space bring in people with deep industry experience.
