There's A LOT of lazy generalisations about "generations" in the media that has permeated thinking that our industry hasn't always been good at negating. Confusion and conflation between lifecycle, period and cohort effects is all too common. The latest Ipsos Generations 2024 report unpacks this, alongside a wealth of other trends and findings (like how the idea of boomers applies to different generations depending on where you are, or even not at all).
