The International Trade and Investment Policy (ITIP) program is a professional masters degree program designed to train the next generation of global leaders in international economics and business. The ITIP program's structure reflects the increasingly interconnected international economy.

ITIP students complete an interdisciplinary core curriculum spanning political science and international economics coupled with proficiency in a foreign language. ITIP's distinction is its emphasis on international trade, international macroeconomics, and international political economy, along with quantitative analysis involving econometric applications. ITIP students choose a major field in one of the following fields: economic policy analysis, development economics, international business, or finance.

The Metropolitan Revolution is a book set to be released June, 2013. With the book will come a nationwide campaign. In The Metropolitan Revolution, Jennifer Bradley and Bruce Katz position cities and metropolitan areas, already the engines of our national economy, as the vanguard of national progress. We find the revolution present in grand, economy shaping gestures: an Applied Sciences District in New York City, an Infrastructure Trust in Chicago, and a metro-wide transit system in Denver. They also showcase a series of smaller, structural interventions: an intermediary in North East Ohio that helps manufacturing firms retool their factories for new demand; a Regional Export Council in Los Angeles that helps small businesses access global markets; and a network of Neighborhood Service Centers in Houston that gives new immigrants access to low cost banking, education, child care and health care. Jennifer and I use these stories and others to illustrate the emergence of a new growth model: a next economy where we export more and waste less, innovate in what matters, produce and deploy more of what we invent and build an economy that actually works for working families. We show how the revolution is being led by a Pragmatic Caucus who put place over party, collaboration over conflict and evidence over dogma and argue that the Metropolitan Revolution fully aligns with this disruptive moment: crowd sourced rather than close sourced, entrepreneurial rather than bureaucratic, networked rather than hierarchical. The Metropolitan Revolution offers a path to break through our paralyzed politics, reshape our federal republic, and revive our national economy.
