Energy and climate change intersect in myriad ways, including in our energy system's ability to withstand increasingly challenging weather conditions. While renewable energy sources may face greater exposure to weather and cost more to recover, they also hold up better under extreme conditions. And, their ability to work in a decentralized manner mean that they're not only better because they are effectively carbon and water free, but because they are more flexible and resilient.
