Focused on reaching a more significant population of Jewish seniors across the Carolinas, I recognized that long-term impact would require more excellent representation across both states and the introduction of more self-sustaining programs.

Recruiting a multi-generational board, we established a new strategic approach for redefining how grants were distributed. Implementing best practices and better addressing case management and elderly care, we have awarded more than $2,000,000 in grants since inception and continue to distribute additional grants year over year.

The impact of this program has taken the CJFS from being a small parochial foundation to effectively supporting a much larger community across multiple states. Show less
