MAC believes in creating a culture of compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for animals by providing programs and education that support people and companion animals throughout our communities. Nearly 5,000 animals will turn to MAC this year for sheltering, compassion and hope. Thousands more will rely on…

    I am proud to be a part of an organization that is dedicated to "Saving Animals. Helping People." Since 2008, McKamey Animal Center has served the Greater Chattanooga area. MAC believes in creating a culture of compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for animals by providing programs and education that support people and companion animals throughout our communities. Nearly 5,000 animals will turn to MAC this year for sheltering, compassion and hope. Thousands more will rely on our community services such as weekly clinics, spay/neuter assistance, and other life-saving programs. I love what this organization does for both animals AND people.

    I began speaking at conferences in 2012, when I was asked to represent Walgreens as a speaker at LinkedIn's Talent Connect. My topic was on how to successfully launch and manage a LinkedIn group, something I started at Walgreens because they didn't have any careers-focused communities yet on social media.
